Canadian Callanetics takes the grace and fluidity of Ballet and the mind/body
synergy of Yoga and had combined them into a revolutionary exercise program
that tones and reshapes the body. It consists of small delicate movements
which do not jar, stress or strain joints. When preformed correctly,
seemingly easy and simple techniques have amazing results. Concentrating
on elongating muscle developing a lean physique as opposed to a bulky one.
The fact is that more lean muscle your body has, the greater you increase your
metabolic rate and in turn the more calories you burn.
The classes are intentionally kept small, creating an intimate, un-intimidating
and relaxing atmosphere. Students work at their own pace according to
their fitness levels, not age or gender. The teacher can then easily move
from person to person ensuring safety, correct body positioning and
technique, This also helps the teacher continually assess your fitness
level and help you obtain your goals.

sense of well being, boosting confidence and improve your self esteem.
